Have you ever watched a rodeo from a seat close enough to the action that you can see the cowboy clench his jaw just before they open the chute? Have you ever been given an education on the who, what, where, when, why and how of modern farming? Have you been to the top of a Ferris wheel on a warm summer night on the prairies, or purchased fresh vegetables that were pulled from the field that very morning?
If your answer is no to any of these marvelous things, there’s one place where you can experience them all – Lethbridge Exhibition Park.
Since its first fair in 1897, Lethbridge Exhibition Park has hosted hundreds of tradeshows, Farmers’ Markets, midways and rodeos, as well as a variety of sporting and special events each year, including Ag Expo, the North American Seed Fair, Home and Garden Show, Aggie Days, Children’s Festival, The BIG Christmas Trade Show, Family Fest and Lethbridge’s own Whoop-Up Days Family Festival. The venue is large enough to keep things interesting, but not so large that you feel lost in the crowd while you’re here. Check the calendar of events at exhibitionpark.ca and choose your party, slip into your favorite duds and mosey over for a great time.
